A humanist and committed vision
Our mission is to contribute to a fairer, more sustainable and more united world, by building bridges between North and South, between generations, between cultures and between knowledge.
We believe that every individual and every community holds part of the solution to the challenges of our time: environmental degradation, social inequalities, loss of biodiversity, food crises, cultural uprooting.
Three main lines of action
Environment and agroecology
ABRAM is committed to the protection and restoration of ecosystems, notably through reforestation, permaculture training, education in sustainable development and the defense of threatened biomes such as the Brazilian Cerrado.
Education and autonomy
We set up educational projects providing access to training, the acquisition of technical skills, the awakening of ecological citizenship and the promotion of the solidarity economy. Whether it’s sewing modules, educational gardens or intercultural education projects, every action is aimed at empowering individuals and communities.
Solidarity and social justice
ABRAM defends the rights of indigenous peoples, traditional communities and all populations in vulnerable situations. Our actions support access to food sovereignty, vocational training and economic autonomy, notably through fair trade and sustainable agriculture.
A growing network
Since its creation, ABRAM has been developing local and international partnerships, in collaboration with schools, local authorities, farmers’ organizations, indigenous associations, social economy players and numerous volunteers and supporters.
Our approach is participative, inclusive and rooted in the field, with a strong conviction: changing the world always starts with concrete action, right where we are.
ABRAM: arms open to the world, roots in the territories, and actions that connect.
