In the wake of Piodoki, ABRAM’s Brazilian roots are strengthened and concrete requests emerge. A partnership was formed with the Janela school in Cavalcante. ABRAM then financed its first structuring project on an educational site: the creation of the Recanto dos Pássaros, an agro-ecological garden designed as a living laboratory and learning ground.
The Recanto serves the entire Janela school community: primary school children, teachers and families. At the same time, ABRAM finances and implements a water catchment and irrigation system, strengthening the site’s autonomy and resilience.
These years marked the transition from a project-based approach to a territorial vision. However, this promising dynamic was brutally halted by the COVID crisis.
